Fake to Escape

You’re a sneaky slime trying to escape a large castle. You can absorb objects and then form into them to trick and avoid enemy guards. 

Made in a week for Brackey's game jam 2022 for the theme "It is not real". 

Controls:

• Move: (Left and Right keys) OR ( ‘A’ and ‘D’ keys)
• Jump: Space
• Dash: Shift
• Absorb object: Down key OR ‘S’ key
• Disguise as object: Up key OR ‘W’ key

Theme interpretation (It is not real):

I looked up some synonyms for “not real” or “unreal”, I found words like "pretend" and "mock" which inspired this idea. A slime that can absorb and then mock objects, as it tries to escape! 

This is my first game jam! Happy to hear any feedback or constructive criticism!
